Saints Peter and Paul Church
Stained Glass

The stained glass windows are original to the church, with the exception of a commemorative window installed in 1978.

Original stained glass windows, circa 1910.

In 1978, a stained glass window was installed above the church's main entrance to commemorate the Millennium of Christianity in Rus'-Ukraine (1988) and was blessed by Archbishop-Metropolitan Joseph Schmondiuk.  Portrayed in the window are the Ukrainian Saints Grand Prince Volodymyr the Great and Princess Olha. Grand Prince Volodymyr the Great initiated the conversion to Christianity beginning with the residents of Kyiv.  Princess Olha, his grandmother, was the first Kyivan Rus’ ruler to become a Christian and influenced the decision of Saint Volodymyr to adopt Christianity.
